Questions about this course
How many hours do I need before the road test?
It depends on how much you have driven. Many students book a first hour so the instructor can assess them, then decide. Your instructor will tell you honestly what you still need to work on.
Can I take a lesson right before my road test?
Yes. A warm-up lesson just before the test is popular, especially combined with an Omega car rental at the SAAQ centre.
I have a foreign licence. Can I take refresher lessons?
It depends on whether your foreign licence still authorizes you to drive in Québec, based on your status and when you arrived. Contact us so we can help clarify your situation before booking. (opens in a new tab)
Do I need a learner’s permit to take lessons?
To take in-car lessons, you need a valid learner’s permit, a valid Québec driver’s licence, or a foreign driver’s licence that currently authorizes you to drive in Québec.
